Brasil atinge o maior número de famílias em extrema pobreza desde 2014

O número de famílias em extrema pobreza cadastradas no CadÚnico (Cadastro Único para programas sociais do governo federal) superou a casa de 14 milhões e alcançou o maior número desde o final de 2014.

O total de pessoas na miséria no Brasil hoje equivale a cerca de 39,9 milhões de pessoas, de acordo com dados do Ministério da Cidadania. São consideradas famílias de baixa renda aquelas que têm renda de até R$ 89 por pessoa (renda per capita).

Em outubro, outras 2,8 milhões de famílias vivem em situação de pobreza, com renda per capita média entre R$ 90 e R$ 178.

Durante o governo Jair Bolsonaro, o número de famílias cadastradas no CadÚnico em situação de extrema pobreza saltou em 1,3 milhão (eram 12,7 milhões em dezembro de 2018, último mês do governo de Michel Temer).

Com o fim do auxílio emergencial neste mês, a tendência é que a pobreza cresça no país.

Dados do Bolsa Família também apontam que, em novembro, eram 14,3 milhões de famílias aptas e aprovadas no programa, que receberam, em média, um benefício de R$ 329,19. Agora, com o fim do auxílio emergencial (com valores que variaram de R$ 300 a R$ 1.200 por mês), essa média vai baixar para R$ 190, como era antes da pandemia.

O Bolsa Família paga um benefício que varia de R$ 41 a R$ 205.

Além disso, 14,1 milhões de brasileiros estão desempregados, segundo o IBGE.
